    Traveling Tips for Ladies

Women often have the issue of making their trip cumbersome and heavy because of the stuffs they bring. For example, beauty care products seem indispensable to them even when they are traveling. Big bottles of face and hand wash products, body lotion, hand cream, perfumes are definitely the culprits here.

To address this problem, you can request samples of beauty products at the department stores. These samples are often packed in small bottles which can be carried in a small pouch. This can be of great convenience since they save lots of space off your luggage.

Other than requesting samples at department stores, there are some products can be bought in smaller version. For example, a lot of perfumes are kept in small bottles which can be easily packed in your luggage. If you don’t want to bring bottles of perfumes at all, what you can do is you take some cotton balls and spray them with your favorite scent and then keep them in air tight container. When you need them, all you have to do is dab yourself with these scented cotton balls before leaving the hotel room.

How to Avoid Laundry During Your Vacation

Speaking of laundry, I know people hate to do laundry during their trips. For ladies, what you could do is you can take disposable panties with panty liners. Fresh panty liners certainly give your undergarment a clean feel. They are light weight and can be easily disposed of plus most of them are environmental friendly. The cost of doing laundry at hotels is probably more expensive than the cost of buying few pairs disposable panties.

    What to Dress

In addition, you don’t need to bring sophisticated dresses for your trip. Just bring clothes that can be easily mixed and matched. For example, tank tops, camisoles and t-shirts can be worn with just about anything from jeans to skirts to sarong and pareos. Sarong and pareos are very versatile in terms of usage. They can be used in all sorts of occasions. For example, at the beach, they can be used as dress, skirts, beach cover up, towel and even evening wear. In other places, you can even use the sarongs as a sling to carry baby or wrap dirty clothes in.

    Block Those UV Light

Last but not least, don’t forget sun glasses and sun block. For sunglasses, get the one with polarized glasses. Don’t get the cheap one as they not only fail to filter any harmful UV ray, they can damage your eyes. A pair of polarized sun glasses cost only a bit more expensive. Also the sun block should have a SPF factor of at least 30 to effectively block harmful UV ray.

Good tips! Another thing I like is to bring scarves and inexpensive jewelry. These take very little space or weight in your luggage, but can give your solid-color pieces a totally different look. Toss on a bright silk scarf, and it’s almost like having another outfit!
