Tips for Going to A F1 Race
One of the most important things when you are going to watch a Formula One race is to bring a lot of sunblock with high SPF and a hat as you will be under the sun most of the time. Even if your seat is shaded, the temperature will go beyond 32 degree C especially in the afternoon. Staying cool and hydrated is the most challenging thing to do for going to a Formula One race.
Getting to Sepang F1 Circuit
The Kuala Lumpur International Airport or KLIA is possibly the nearest place to the Sepang Formula One circuit. Therefore, if you plan to take bus, you can board the Airport Coach bus at Jalan Duta Bus Station to KLIA. From KLIA, you can either call a taxi or the Sepang Omni bus to get to Sepang International circuit. The journey takes only 10 to 15 minutes.
The other way is to depart from Sentral Station. There are plenty of buses or taxis that depart from Sentral Station to the Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) near KLIA. On the way to LCCT, you can ask to be dropped right at the Sepang F1 circuit. To save money, taking the bus is better option.
Driving To Sepang Formula One Circuit
If you are driving there, the easiest way is to take the North South Highway from Kuala Lumpur towards KLIA. The journey takes about an hour to get to the circuit. You can use the map below for reference.
If you depart from Kuala Lumpur Sentral Station, you can either take the ERL (Express Rail Link) to KLIA or the Komuter Train to Nilai. From the KLIA or Nilai, you can call a taxi or the Sepang Omnibus to get to Sepang International Circuit. The journey takes only 10 to 15 minutes.
